This article focuses on the health and well-being of your brain. Obviously, that's the place where memories are created and stored for your recall. To stop memory loss , you need to have a healthy brain.

No one really likes to forget good or useful memories. We can all forget the crappy stuff like the lover who dumped you or a car accident but the birth of your child is a tough memory to lose.

Your Brain After the Age of 40

Some older people suffer from Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), a more severe form of memory loss. It affects approximately 20% of people over 70. These people don't just forget where they put their car keys, they forget major events and may language skill problems.
