Goals are the road maps to success. Someone once said to me "if you don't have a goal or destination in mind, you are just on a Sunday drive.  How true is that?  Think about that for a minute.  If you got in a care and started to drive without a goal or destination, where would you end up?  No one knows for sure.  It's the same with your life.  Without a goal, and a plan to achieve that goal, you have no idea where you will end up.

First there are some things you need to sort out when considering goals.  You need to of course decidewhatyou want and then it is just as important to have a time frame to achieve it in.   The more clear you define your goals and time frames, the easier your task will become.

For example, Let's say your goal is to make money from home so that you can quit your job.  This is great, but you need to drill it down to details, and then create bench marks, and then a plan to achieve this.

First you need to decide how much money you need to make before you can quit your job.  Then you have to have a reasonable time frame to accomplish this goal. Be careful not to make your goal to hard, because it can cause you to become to frustrated and most likely give up. Give it ample time and keep it reachable.

Next create goals within your goals.  For example, if your goals time frame is one year, create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly bench mark goals to aid your process and then have a plan to achieve each.

Your plan is what you have to do to achieve your goals.  When planning, ask yourself, "What do I have to do today to accomplish my weekly goal, and what do I have to do each week to accomplish my monthly goals, what do I have to do each month to accomplish my quarterly goals, and each quarter to achieve my ultimate goal?"

If your not achieving your bench mark goals, you can then make adjustments to assure that you will stay on track on the way to your ultimate goal.  Have a plan, work your plan and your goals will take shape.  It works.

To your success,
