A Herbal Acne Remedy is an excellent choice for acne sufferers who don't want to deal with the side effects of prescription drugs. Acne herbal remedies give you more of a chance to get rid of acne without worrying about potential side effects. What Is Acne?

Acne is the infammation of the hair follcles and sebaceous glands. Acne can break out anywhere on the body but usually on the face.

Not just a teenage problem, acne effects adults and can be an embarrassment, destroying your self-esteem and making you self conscious about your appearance.

What follows is an excellent herbal acne remedy treatment.

Fenugreek Herbal Acne Remedy

A herb that grows in the Mediterranean Fenugreek has medicinal properties which make it an excellent treatment for acne as well as other conditions such as eczma, boils and burns. Fenugreek can be found in shops that sell exotic spices.

1. As with all acne treatments the first step in applying Fenugreek is to wash your face. Use a cleanser that won't clog pores (non-comedogenic) and oil-free. Wash your hands first and then wash your face. Don't use a cloth as this can irritate your skin.

2. Pat your face dry to prevent irritation. Try and get Fenugreek in powder form. If you can't, put your Fenugreek seeds in a grinder and do it manually.

3. Mix a tablespoon of fenugreek powder with warm water until it forms a slurry that is liquid enough to soak into a cotton ball. Apply to the effected area and leave until morning. Wash off in the morning and use a decent moisturizer.
