I know that there are a lot of gimmick products on the market today like the anti-snoring pillow. You probably are willing to use just about anything to get rid of this problem. Seeing this in a store might actually excite you and maybe even give you hope for getting past this problem. I don't like to burst people's bubbles, but I feel I have to in this case. This product is great from a marketing perspective, but it isn't something that is going to help you. I'm going go into detail on the actual science of why the anti-snoring pillow won't work for you. I'll also show you something will help you.

A lot of people don't realize this, but it is the position of your jaw when you sleep that determines whether you will snore or not. Our muscles go into a relaxed and limp state when we sleep and this applies to our jaw muscles. Our jaw tends to sag down and press on the throat area creating pressure. It is this pressure that leads to the snore sounds. A simple pillow isn't going to control the position of your jaw. Even if it some how opened up your throat airways, it would be difficult to do since people sleep in many different positions. The simple fact is that the anti-snoring pillow just couldn't work for you.

If you just stick to the science, you should see that the only solution that will work for you is the one that controls the position of your jaw and keeps it off the throat.
