Are you aware that even the kinds of food you consume can cause your tinnitus to worsen or improve? Reports show that many tinnitus sufferers report worse symptoms after ingesting caffeine. You will learn about the connection between caffeine and ringing in your ears, as well as ways to reduce your caffeine intake.

You've probably heard that you should stay away from coffee and soda when you have tinnitus. That's because they contain caffeine. Caffeine stimulates your nervous system. This has been shown to increase tinnitus symptoms for many people.

The up and down mood swings that some people encounter with caffeinated drinks can also indirectly cause ear problems. Caffeine is also a vasoconstrictor. That means it constricts blood vessels. And reduced blood flow to your ears can cause or increase tinnitus symptoms.

So it's clear that avoiding the caffeine from coffee, tea, and soda could help reduce your tinnitus. We're not done yet. There are even more sources of caffeine in your diet. As you might imagine, energy drinks are full of caffeine and other stimulants, which means you really need to steer clear of them. And there are more sources.

Are you a fan of sweet foods like cake and candy? If so, you'll be disappointed to know that chocolates and cocoa are also high in caffeine. Not as bad as the drinks we've already talked about, but still enough to cause problems for some people. This means you shouldn't simply switch from coffee to hot chocolate in the mornings. And it means you should swear off chocolaty products like candy bars of many cakes. Sorry.

These are just a few of the sometimes surprising /?Cure-Your-Tinnitus---Avoid-Caffeine&id=2806487" caffeine sources you will want to avoid on the way to your tinnitus cure. Fortunately, while there are certain foods you should avoid, there are also a number of foods that can actually help with your problem. In a holistic approach to a tinnitus treatment, even the foods you eat become part of the program.
