Many people are addicted to smoking weed. Well, this is no ordinary weed for it can become an addiction and it can bring harm to the body. So, what is this 'weed' that I am referring here? The weed that most people use in smoking, which is addictive, is known as 'Cannabis'. It is a specie of a plant that can make people high. Popularly, this is known as 'marijuana' or what others call 'Mary-j.



While it is true that marijuana have medical benefits but if it is used abusively, it can cause harm to the body. It must not be used without any medical guidance by a medical professional. Because of the thought that it has medical benefits, others have a misconception about it. These people think that it is just like a certain form of tobacco. Tobacco and marijuana have similarities, though. One example is that, both can be addictive. But there should be something else that we should know about the two.



Both can be harmful to the body. Smoking marijuana and tobacco can destroy the health of the smoker and the people who can smell its smoke. However, marijuana has more disastrous effect because it can destroy the cells in your brain. No wonder why some people will hallucinate because of it and will even think that they can fly or they are in heaven. Also, a person addicted to marijuana is always confused and will always have panic reactions. A person's self-esteem will be surely lowered because of this. Thus, it has more bad effects than the good ones.



Also, smoking marijuana can cause the dreaded lung cancer. You may not feel the bad effects instantly but eventually, you will surely suffer. Your health will surely suffer. You can have difficulty remembering stuff. So, if you want a healthier life, then NOW is the best time to stop smoking weed.



A person addicted to marijuana will find it very hard to quit it. Considering the withdrawal symptoms will make it harder. For example a person may suffer from insomnia during the withdrawal process. But if you are very determined to have a better and healthier life, you will find it easy to quit smoking marijuana.



If you don't want to die at an early age, or suffer from any health difficulties then stop smoking marijuana. What you feel when you smoke is just temporary. But what you will feel when you stop will be permanent. You may feel high and happy temporarily but it will not end there.



Some things may be hard but nothing is impossible. Just be determined to stop. Find motivations to stop. Plan the actions that you must take in order to stop smoking weed. Learn from others who have successfully stopped smoking marijuana. This can be your strategy. Be humble enough to ask other people's health. Consult professionals who specialize in helping people to quit marijuana. Remember to put into action your plan and strategies. By these you will surely succeed and will have a cleansed healthy life.
