In the Bible, Deuteronomy 23:17-18, the Lord God commanded that there shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel; neither shall there be a homosexual among the sons of Israel.  Also, the Lord God commanded not to bring the hire of a prostitute or the price of a dog into the house of God because they both are abomination to the Lord God.

The verse uses the expression "sodomite".

Sodomy is the act of anal sex

Sodomy is a term used to describe homosexuality.

The term "sodomite" is taken from the city of Sodom. The word refers to anyone who engages in homosexual or lesbian acts.

The sin was homosexuality. The sin was males with males. Then later in the New Testament God includes females with females.

But why the Lord God forbids prostitution and homosexuality only for the Israelites?

Is it a form of racial discriminations?

It is well known that the cost of owning a dog can be estimated at $700-3000 per year.

The price of a dog depends on its type, age, sex etc. and there are many markets for dogs' sales and adoptions.

However, the Bible says that the price of a dog is an abomination.

In the Quran, prostitution and homosexuality are forbidden not only for the Israelites but for all human beings.

In addition, neither the hire of a prostitute nor the price of a dog is mentioned therein in the entire Quran.
