All About The Law Of Gratitude

Understanding the laws of the universe can help you lead a happier, more full-filling life. Of these laws, the Law of Gratitude, may indeed be the second most important out there, proceeded only by the Law of Love. The reason for this is that by acknowledging the need to be grateful, we acknowledge the place of the Creator to be grateful to.

Just as the Law of Attraction, this law works by putting out more good energy to attract more good energy. When you feel grateful, you naturally focus on what you want, rather than what you do not have. By doing so, our energy is put towards more positives and less negatives. When we focus on the positives, we allow ourselves to receive them.

When being grateful, it is important to make the distinction between that feeling and the feeling of satisfaction. Many people have the understand that being satisfied means a total completeness that is without concern for anything more than the present. In actuality, this is not the case.

There is a difference between being satisfied, which is what comes with being grateful, and being complacent, which does not. The key factor is to be happy with what you have, and dwell on that happiness rather that what you did not get. By doing this, you remain open for future good without feelings of negativity because it is not a part of your life now.

An often overlooked part of gratitude is forgiveness. We must be grateful for what we do have in order to forgive for what we do not have. On the same token, in order to fully forgive someone, we must be able to acknowledge that we are grateful to have them. This principle applies to forgiving and being grateful for ourselves, as well.

True application of the Law of Gratitude includes accepting that what we get comes from outside of ourselves, which accepts the role of our Creator. When we learn to forgive and apply it to being grateful, our positive energy will naturally attract more positive energy. We deserve what we get, and understand this is paramount to our happiness and sense of fulfillment in the universe.
